TESTING OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES AND MOTOR GENERATORS

In up to date equipped testing station, testing of all types of OTTO and DIESEL motors which power is 2kW-1900kW and which weight is not over 6000kg is done. During the testing, the state of motor is stated by following the basic parameters, such as:TESTING OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES AND MOTOR GENERATORS
  • Power,
  • Torque,
  • Number of revolutions,
  • Oil pressure,
  • Oil and water temperatures
  • Fuel consumption,
  • Pressure of gases in oil sump,
  • Pressure in cylinder,
  • Temperatures of exhaust gases.

Testing of internal combustion engines, OTTO and DIESEL, represents the final overhauling operation, which is done in up-to-date equipped testing station, produced according strict requests in regard to automatic following and control of engine running parameters, security and safety during the testing. Characteristics of engine are controlled on this way and, through it summary evaluation of the quality of performed overhauling works is obtained.

Entire testing station building consists of six separate chambers for testing engines, which are supplied with corresponding equipment and installations for fuel, oil, water, exhausted gases, heating, aeration and fire prevention.
Hydraulic brakes “SCHENCK”, which characteristics are given in the table below, attain operational motor loading during the breaking in and testing:

During the testing, automatic following of 70 engine characteristics is possible, such as:

  • Number of revolutions,
  • Torque,
  • Indicated power,
  • Oil pressure,
  • Inlet and outlet oil temperature,
  • Inlet and outlet water temperature,
  • Fuel flow time,
  • Fuel injection percentage,
  • Reducing moment,
  • Reducing power,
  • Fuel consumption,
  • Pressure of gases in oil sump,
  • Temperature of exhausted gases,
  • Specific fuel consumption,
  • Pressures in cylinder,
  • Pressure of exhausted gases,
  • Air pressure of turbo compressor,
  • Fuel temperature,
  • Fuel pressure.

TRZ performs the testing of all types in line fuel injection high-pressure pumps.

It performs the testing of the fuel supply system components:

  • Low pressure pumps,
  • Fuel filters,
  • Pipeline and connections.
